Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Rolling Meadows is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rolling Meadows follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I've been coming to this car wash for more than 10 years and I'll tell you how I started. One year I lost a couple 50.00 gift cards around the holidays I thought they were gone. 2 weeks later I washed my car here and there guys put it in my cup holder. On another occasion about 6 months later I was on a guys night out and one of my buddies lost their cell phone we thought it was history. Three of us were looking through the car could not find it. He was certain it was in the car. The battery had died so we couldn't hear it ring we never found it in the car. A week later I was at this car wash and the guys found it put it in my cup holder. Hand car washes are hard to find these days this is a family-owned honest business!

I was looking for a place to get my CX-5 ceramic coated, I called Stefan and he was able to accommodate my schedule. The Sonax ceramic coating and the cars paint correction turned out great!👍 Stefan even fixed a few small scratches from the dealership. I would definitely get my future cars ceramic coated here.

Short story: they did amazing job with my Tesla model 3. The owner was super friendly and had good technique. Definitely will come here again. Long story: I don't live in the area but I go to ball factory often. I looked up potential places the night prior and lotus car wash caught my eye because of the good Google reviews and the website. However they had no Yelp reviews, so I was a little hesitant. I use to do my own detailing like washes, buffering, polishing, and waxing on my cars when I younger and had more time. I decided to give this place a try since my car was so dirty from the Chicago winter. I got my Tesla model 3 about 6 weeks ago and have not washed it. Lotus was my babys first car wash and they did an amazing job. The owner greeted me and was super nice from the beginning. I watched him about half the time washing my car, it's a single garage rather than like a factory line of car wash. I kind of liked it this way when one person since it felt personable. He washed the car in detail and with good technique (no swirl motions and top to bottom. Honestly told him in the beginning I was in a hurry since my wife was watching our two kids at ball factory. He worked super h
